Costs and Policies for Canadian Uniform Orders

Shipping Costs for Canadian Orders: There are additional costs incurred by NW Scrubs when shipping to Canadian addresses. These include a higher shipping rate as well as Canadian Sales Tax and Import Duties. We do our best to charge only what these expenses actually cost and not add to them. Additional charges on Canadian Shipments are fully visible to our customers during Checkout.

Additional Charges Are:

An additional $13 USD per Order for Freight
Sales Tax (5% GST plus any Regional Taxes)
Duties of 18% of the Retail Price + Sales Tax

For example, an order of $100 to Quebec would be charged our normal shipping (FREE) + $13 Shipping Surcharge + 12.875% Total Sales Tax + 18% Import Duties. The total cost of shipping and duties would be $46.19 USD. All amounts are in US Dollars and will be converted by your credit card bank to Canadian Currency when the charge posts.

Most companies add significantly to their prices to cover these charges. As an example, Allheart.com would charge $41.49 for shipping PLUS $3.00 per item (which would be $18.00 on an average $100 order). So their shipping costs would be $59.49 vs our $46.19 based on the example above. The point is that we try to be as fair and transparent while providing top brand name medical uniforms to our Canadian customers.

Return Policy for Canadian Orders: Our basic return policy is the same for Canadian customers as US Customers. We will refund you 100% of the total value of returned products given that they are in new condition, with tags attached. We will not refund any sales tax, shipping charges or duties you have paid for. In addition, we will not accept any shipments with money due us for duties, shipping or taxes. Due to the extra few days of transit inherent in international shipments and the possible customs delays, we will extend our return window to accept any valid returns that were "sent from our customers" within 30 days of their receipt of product. There are no exchanges. If you would like replacement scrubs, simply place a new order on our website. Because of the higher expense of sending uniforms back and forth, we encourage our International customers to make sure they already know their size in a given brand before ordering online. Failure to do so could limit your savings over a local store if you end up needing to return something.
